Following the recent Ofsted Monitoring visit, we are delighted to announce that Henry Fawcett Primary School has now been taken out of Special Measures.
In September last year, Henry Fawcett Primary School was placed into the category of Special Measures and the school was told that it needed to improve standards for the children.
Since then, the leadership team, staff, pupils and governors of Henry Fawcett have been working exceptionally hard to rapidly bring about the necessary changes. As a result, standards have risen quickly.
The children are producing beautiful work of a high standard, behaviour in and around the school is good, and the Early Years has been transformed into a wonderful environment that really inspires the children to learn.
Because of these and many other improvements, we felt the school was ready to be taken out of Special Measures, even though it is highly unusual in such a short timescale.
Pupils, parents, staff and governors worked together to show how much our school had changed, and the Inspector was so impressed with what she saw she agreed with our judgments, and took the school out of Special Measures. |
